Reeves To Run For GSW in 2016

AMERICUS - Georgia Southwestern head women's cross country coach Brittney Skiles has announced the signing of Madelynn Reeves from Etowah High School in Woodstock, Ga., for the 2016 season.

Reeves, a varsity letter recipient at Etowah, received the coach's award for most improved runner after both her junior and senior seasons. This fall, Reeves set her personal-best time of 20:01 and ran all eight of her races under 21:23. She ranks as the 11th fastest female runner in Etowah history and is a member of the team that won the 2015 Cherokee County Cross Country Championship.

Reeves also ran in the 2015 Foot Locker South Regional Cross Country Championships and posted a time of 20:29 for 43rd place out of 147 competitors.

Skiles returns seven runners next fall from a 2015 GSW roster that featured no upperclassmen.
