Georgia Southwestern rallied for two runs in their final at-bat to defeat Flagler, 6-5, in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader at Hurricane Field; Flagler won game one, 5-1.

It's the second time in the last four games that GSW has rallied from behind in their last at-bat to win.

Daniel Lynn went 4-for-7 on the day, including the game-winning hit in the nightcap, to lead the Hurricane offense.

In game one, the Saints scored a run in the fourth and another in the fifth to take a 2-0 lead. In the sixth, FC put together a two-out, bases empty, rally to push across three runs, highlighted by Cale Owen's two RBI triple.

GSW would get on the board in the seventh when singles by Zack Stanton, Drew Camp and Lynn led to the ‘Canes lone run.

Austin Donmoyer (3-3) scattered nine hits and walked one in the complete game effort for Flagler.

Hurricane starter Ryan Lackey (1-3) took the loss, allowing two runs in 4.1 innings of work. He surrendered six hits, walked two and struck out a batter.

Owen finished 4-for-5 at the plate with two triples to lead the Saints offensive attack. Sam Bridgeman went 3-for-4 and Kyle Foti was 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Lynn and Bud Long had two hits apiece for the ‘Canes. Lynn knocked in Southwestern's only run.

In the nightcap, the visiting Saints took a 5-4 lead to the bottom of the seventh.

Francisco Gomez started off the inning by reaching first base on a fielding error by the FC pitcher. After a line out to right, Miles Martin dropped a single down the right field line and Chris Lingham, who entered the game as a pinch runner for Gomez, motored to third. Trey Reeves proceeded to hit a ground ball to the third baseman who came home with the throw.  The Saints catcher chased Lingham back to third, but when he went to apply the tag, Lingham curled his torso out of reach and made the break for home.  A late swipe by the FC pitcher missed and the ‘Canes had tied the score.

The next batter, Lynn, stroked a single to left center to score Martin and the ‘Canes had their 12th win of the season.

J.W. Deighton (0-2) took the loss in 3.1 innings of relief for the Saints. He allowed two runs - neither earned - on three hits, with three strike outs and a walk.

Bud Fuller (3-3) picked up the win; throwing the final 1.2 innings and allowing one run on one hit. He struck out two and walked one.  Tyler Daniel worked a scoreless 2.2 innings to keep the ‘Canes within striking distance.

Will Percy went 3-for-4 with a RBI and run scored to lead Flagler from the dish. Brett West added a 2-for-3 performance with a RBI.

Gomez, Martin, Lynn and Beau Parker had two-hit nights for GSW. Martin and Lynn knocked in a run apiece and Martin, Gomez and Parker each scored a run.

GSW travels to Savannah for a three-game weekend series with Armstrong Atlantic starting at 12 p.m. on Saturday.
