Former Georgia Southwestern third baseman Zack Stanton signed a contract to play professional baseball for the Frontier League’s Evansville (Ind.) Otters on June 14.

Hours after the deal was complete, Zack played his first professional game.

He collected four hits and stole three bases over his first two contests and knocked his first home run on June 19 (sixth game played).

We caught up with Zack while he was on the road with the ballclub, a few days into his pro career.

Hear about how he became an Otter, how he's adapted to using a wood bat, life on the road and playing in front of several thousand fans a night.
