AMERICUS, Ga. -- The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association named Jared Donalson as the Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week, Donalson earned PBC Pitcher of the Week honors for the third straight week as he extended his scoreless streak to 16 innings. He has allowed only one earned run in his last three starts combined for an 0.39 ERA over 23 innings.

Last week, Donalson pitched seven shutout innings against Augusta, holding the Jaguars to three hits and two walks while striking out eight. He set down the side in order twice and held the Jaguars to a .115 batting average. Donalson is the first GSW player since Tucker Smith to earn the honor. He currently leads the Peach Belt Conference in ERA, opposing batting average, strikeouts, and is tied for the lead in wins this season.
