GSW Scores a Dozen to Beat Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern baseball got back to its winning ways after an offensive onslaught as they defeat Augusta University 12-1 Saturday afternoon.

Miles Hartfield had a good game going 3-for-4 with a rbi, and a walk, and scored three runs. Hartsfieldd was one of five Hurricanes to record multiple hits. Jake Blindstrub went 3-for-6 he also scored one run. Paul Hegeman had a solid performance going 2-for-6 with six RBIs and scoring one run. 

Rijnaldo Euson had a great pitching performance as he earned his third win of the season he pitched 7.2 innings allowing seven hits and striking out 13 batters. 

The Hurricanes scored two runs in the first inning and never looked back they went on to score 10 more runs to earn their seventh win of the season. 

GSW will stay in Augusta as they complete the three-game weekend series against Augusta 1:00 p.m. Sunday
