Blindstrub's Big Night Not Enough Canes Fall to Valdosta State

AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern baseball team extends its losing streak to two games losing to Valdosta State 9-2. 

Jake Blindstrub had three hits in the game and added an RBI. Blindstrub was one of two Hurricanes with multiple hits the other Calvin Alexander who went 2-for-4 and stole a base.

The Hurricanes had a rough day pitching giving up nine runs and surrendering 11 hits.

GSW falls to 7-4 and 4-2 in PBC conference play. 

The Hurricanes will stay home to host a weekend series with PBC foe Lander University (5-10, 3-3) starting 6:00 p.m. Friday at Hurricanes Field.
