AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern baseball team won their second walk-off game of the season as they swept USC Beaufort 4-3.

GSW drew first blood scoring two runs in the second inning on a triple from Hunter Foster, and later a rbi single from Chris Patterson.

The Canes got into trouble in the third inning the Sand Sharks hit a two-run home run to tie the game and hit a sac fly to give them the lead.

The score remained 3-2 until the eighth inning when Paul Hegeman hit a rbi single that tied the game for the Hurricanes. The bottom of the ninth was bizarre Blinstrub reached base on a single Miles Hartsfield laid down a bunt to move Blinstrub to second base Cory Lee was intentionally walked Matthew Mamantas who came into the game as a pinch hitter was also walked intentionally which loaded the bases for GSW with one out. Victor Sanchez went to the plate and hit a walk-off single passed the third basemen to walk it off for the Canes in the 4-3 finish. 

Carson Plumadore gets his second win of the season improving to 2-0 he tossed the last inning and two-thirds and struck out two batters in his relief appearance. 

GSW will stay home to host Albany State (16-4) in a mid-week game at 6:00 p.m. at Hurricane Stadium.
