The game was at a stalemate until the top of the fifth inning when North Georgia hit a two-run home run that gave them a 2-0 lead in the fifth inning.
GSW hit everything in the bottom half of the fifth Hunter Foster got the momentum going with a leadoff single first basemen Paul Hegeman, and outfielder Chris Patterson followed suit with singles that loada the bases for Jake Blinstrub who gave the Hurricanes their lead back.
A pair of doubles for Jake Blinstrub today, including this two-run shot to center in the 5th. The Hurricanes scored seven runs in the frame and went on to a 10-4 win over North Georgia. pic.twitter.com/4V93d88aDs

From that point on the floodgates opened for GSW recording seven hits and seven runs giving them the 8-2 lead which was the proverbial dagger to the heart for the Hawks.
As well as their offense performed Hurricanes' pitching was outstanding and always reliable Rijnaldo Euson pitched deep and only gave up two runs which earned him his team-leading eighth win of the season.
That would make a dozen. Ray Euson fanned 12 over 7 innings to improve his record to 8-1 this season. @GSW_Baseball clinched a series win by defeating North Georgia, 10-4, this afternoon in Game 2 of the Peach Belt Conference series. pic.twitter.com/bxrbp3mFUw
