Rudolph Receives All-Conference Honors

AMERICUS – Georgia Southwestern senior guard Deric Rudolph was named to the Peach Belt Conference 2014-15 men's basketball all-conference team following the conclusion of the regular season.

Rudolph, a second team selection, led the PBC during the regular season in 3-pointers made and ranked in the Top 10 of the conference in 3-point field goal percentage (3rd), minutes per game (7th) and assist to turnover ratio (10th). The Gadsden, Ala. native drained five or more from long range in a game 10 times (seven times in conference play) with a season-high eight against North Georgia on Feb. 11. He scored 20 or more points for the lowest scoring team in league play on three occasions, including 21 against Fayetteville State on Nov. 22 and 26 against North Georgia on Feb. 11.

Rudolph is currently the leader in NCAA Division II for 3-point field goals per game (4.0). He finished the season with 108 3-pointers to set a GSW record.

The Hurricanes have had a player named all-conference seven of the last eight seasons.
