GREENWOOD S.C. – Georgia Southwestern State University senior guard Devon Higgs nearly recorded his second double-double of the season in a losing effort as Lander defeated GSW, 73-64, in the Finis Horne Arena Saturday afternoon.

Devon Higgs had one of his best scoring outputs of the season, scoring 14 points behind 9 rebounds. Higgs was one of three players that scored double-digits Phillip Burwell (12), and Jamari Dean (12).

Georgia Southwestern drops to 8-8 on the season and 2-6 in Peach Belt Conference play.
