MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The Georgia Southwestern men's basketball team suffered their first loss of the 2023-24 season falling to Barton College 87-81 in the first game of the Pickle Classic.

Jordan Johnson scored a career high 25 points made nine of his 14 shot attempts from the field, and shot 83 percent on his three point attempts. Jalen Johnson also had a career high in points (20) shot 50 percent from the field and made three of his six three point attempts, he also hauled in four boards and had five assists.
