AMERICUS, Ga. – The Georgia Southwestern State University men's basketball team gets their second consecutive win, defeating Flagler College, 73-67, on Wednesday night in the Storm Dome. The Hurricanes improved their record to 9-2 and are off to their best start in 10 years.
Jordan Johnson recorded his second-consecutive double digit game he finished with 15 points he made 6-of-9 shots from the field. The Hurricanes had three additional players score in double figures. JaKwon Moore tallied 15 points with two rebounds, and a block. Christian Koonce raked in 13 points with four rebounds and two steals. Tim Hall Jr. recorded a career high 10 points going 5-for-8 from the field and was a force on defense collecting six boards, and two steals.
The game was a back and fourth affair the Canes played good defense and made late clutch shots to earn the victory.
