KILLEN, Ala. - The 25th-ranked Georgia Southwestern men's golf team shot a 2-round 604, +28, on Monday at the TVA Credit Union Classic to currently sit in tenth place out of 15 teams at the Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club.

Matthew Whittaker led the Hurricanes with a first round 7-over-par 79 followed by a second round 2-under-par 70. Whittaker is tied for 26th overall in the 77-player field.

Anders Olson fired a first round 6-over 78 and a second round 1-over-par 73 and sits tied for 32nd while J.P. Griffin (78, 74) and Nate Gahman (77, 75) finished the day tied for 37th.

No. 19 Columbus State holds a five-stroke advantage over Rollins College in the team standings after carding a 2-round, 572 on the day.

Scott Lamb from Rollins College leads on the individual side with a 2-round, 9-under-par.
