AMERICUS - The Georgia Southwestern men's golf team moved into the Top 25 in the latest NCAA Division II Golfstat standings released this past Thursday. 

GSW earned their first tournament championship of the season winning the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate Invitational on Feb. 12.

Freshman Anders Olsson led Southwestern with a tournament-low 66 to finish tied for the individual runner up in the 89-player tournament at Fleming Island, Fla. with a two-day total of 1-under 141.

24th-ranked Georgia Southwestern returns to action on Monday, March 11, as they travel to Valdosta to take part in the Southeastern Collegiate hosted by Valdosta State University at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.
