GSW 10th after first day of First Federal Southeastern Collegiate

VALDOSTA, Ga. - The 24th-ranked Georgia Southwestern men's golf team shot a 2-round 601, +25, on Monday at the First Federal Southeastern Collegiate to currently sit in tenth place out of 15 teams at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.

J.P. Griffin and Anders Olsson led the Hurricanes in the first round both posting scores of 2-over-par 74.

Nate Gahman had a strong second round finishing with a 1-under-par 71 to finish the day tied for 16th overall.

Griffin (74, 78) AND Matthew Whittaker (76, 76) are tied for 40th.

No. 5 Florida Southern sits atop the leaderboard after carding a 2-round 575, on the day.

Florida Southern's Case Gard leads on the individual side with a 2 round, four under par.

GSW returns to the links Tuesday morning for the final round of the Southeastern Collegiate.
