DAHLONEGA, Ga.- The 19th-ranked Georgia Southwestern men's golf team sits in fourth of 17 teams after a 2-round 7-under par 569 Monday at the North Georgia Fall Invite held at the par 72, 6,967 yard Achasta Golf Club.

Hayes Dupree leads the Hurricanes tied for ninth overall of 91 golfers after posting a 69 in Round 1 and 72 in Round 2 to hit 3-under par. Dupree is five strokes back from the tournament leaders Peyton Sliger from Lee and Andrew Hall from Carson Newman both with 8-under par 136.

Nicholas Ward (72, 71) and Ethan Chamineak (71, 72) both shot a two-round, 1-under par 143 to sit tied for 17th heading into Round 3.

Tyler Barker shot a 77 in Round 1 and improved with a 1-over par 70 in Round 2 to sit tied for 38th and Anders Olsson sits tied for 48th with a two-round score of 149.

GSW sits 11 strokes behind the tournament leaders Lee University heading into Round 3.

The Hurricanes begin their final round of play Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
