DAHLONEGA, Ga.- Both Nicholas Ward and the nationally-ranked Georgia Southwestern men's golf team shot tournament low's on Tuesday in the final round at the the North Georgia Fall Invite held at the par-72, 6,967-yard Achasta Golf Club.

GSW fired an 8-under par 280 in Round 3 to shoot a tournament total 849 (15-under par) which placed them fourth of 17 team and broke the GSW 54-hole record.

Ward recorded a 68 in the final round to shoot 5-under in the tournament and moved up eight spots to place tied for ninth of 91 golfers. Ward led the tournament in par-5 scoring with 11-under par and had two of the tournaments 24 eagles.

Hayes Dupree shot a three-round, 4-under par 212 to finish tied for 11th. Dupree was also one of the 19 golfers in the tournament to get an eagle.

Ethan Chamineak also shot a tournament low 70 in Round 3 to finish 3-under par and move up three spots to place 14th.

Tyler Barker moved up eight spots to finish tied for 30th with a three-round total 218 and  Anders Olsson shot a 226 to finished tied for 60th.

GSW was 13 strokes behind the tournament winners Lee University.

The Hurricanes return to competition Monday October 26 to play at the McDonough Cup hosted by Rollins College at Rio Pinar Country Club in Orlando, Fla.
