ST. LEO, Fla.- No. 17 Georgia Southwestern golf posted a two-round score of 613 on the 72-par, 7015 yard course to sit in eighth of 18 teams at the South/Southeast Region Preview hosted by St. Leo University at El Campeon in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.

The 18-team field consists of four Top-5 NCAA DII teams including defending NCAA DII National Champions Nova Southeastern, No. 1 St. Leo, No. 2 Chico State and No. 5 Florida Southern.

GSW is 41 strokes behind the tournament leaders Lynn who posted a 4-under, two-round 572. Florida Southern is in second with a 588 and Chico State is in third with a 590.

Ethan Chamineak shot four birdies in Round 1 to post a 1-under 71 and posted an 81 in Round 2 to sit tied for 25th of 93 golfers.

Hayes Dupree is one stroke behind Chamineak sitting tied for 31st after posting a 75 in Round 1 and 78 in Round 2. Nicholas Ward is two strokes behind Dupree with a two-round score of 155 (76, 79) to sit tied for 43rd.

Anders Olsson is tied for 64th with a two-round 159 (79, 80) and Tyler Barker shot an 86 in Round 1 and improved in Round 2 with a 75 to sit tied for 75th.

The Hurricanes begin their final round of play Tuesday at 8 a.m.
