AMERICUS - Georgia Southwestern senior Ethan Chamineak was named Peach Belt Conference co-Golfer of the Week by the league office on Friday.

Chamineak fired a 69 in Round 3 on Tuesday at the McDonough Cup in Orlando, Fla. to move up two spots and finish tied for second of 96 golfers.

The Thompson, Ga. native posted a three-round score of 5-under 211 to capture his second PBC Golfer of the Week this fall.

Chamineak is the first Hurricane to receive PBC Golfer of the Week twice in the same season; his first was back on Sept. 22, after finishing second at the Jay Jennison Cup with a 7-under, three-round 209.
