VALDOSTA, Ga.- A little bit of rain didn't stop the Georgia Southwestern men's golf team from slowing down in Round 2 as they posted a 303 to remain seventh of 18 teams at the Southeastern Collegiate hosted by Valdosta State on Monday.

The Hurricanes are competing against 14 teams who have been ranked in the Top-25 of the most recent Bushnell Golfweek NCAA Division II Coaches Poll. GSW sits tied with No. 4 Nova Southeastern both posting a two-round 600 on the par 72, 7,113-yard course at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.

No. 1 West Florida leads the tournament after two rounds with a 581. No. 2 Lynn sits in second with a 284 and No. 9 Florida Tech is in third with a 588.

Ethan Chamineak moved up six spots after firing a 72 in Round 2 to sit tied for fourth of the 93-player field heading into the final round with a two-round 145.

Vincent Norrman,  Nicholas Ward and Nix Duncan all posted 78's in Round 2. Norrman sits tied for 39th with a two-round 152 while Ward and Duncan sit tied for 49th with 153's.

Tyler Barker moved up 21 sports after firing a 75 in Round 2 to head into the final round tied for 63rd with a two-round 156.

The Hurricanes will tee off Tuesday morning starting at 8:30 a.m. for the final round of the tournament.
