EATONTON, Ga.- The Georgia Southwestern men's golf team posted the fourth lowest score in Round 2 to move up three spots and sit ninth of 17 teams at the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Georgia College on Monday.

GSW fired a 295 in the second round to end the day with a two-round 601 on the par 70, 6,730-yard Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee golf course.

The Hurricanes are playing against 14 other teams ranked in the Top-50 of the latest NCAA Division II Golfstat Relative Rankings Report including the Top-5 schools.

No. 2 Lynn leads the field with a two-round 580, No. 1 West Florida sits six strokes back from the top position and No. 9 North Alabama sits in third with a 592.

GSW is nine strokes back from the third place position and are third of the seven Peach Belt Conference teams competing, siting two-strokes behind Georgia College.

Vincent Norrman leads the Hurricanes firing a 72 in Round 1 and a 74 in Round 2 to sit tied for 8th of 90 golfers. Alex Wells posted a 76 in Round 1 and a 74 in Round 2 to move up eight spots to sit tied for 22nd. Nicholas Ward fired a tournament low 73 in Round 2 to move up 25 spots and sit tied for 34th with a two-round 152. Tyler Barker posted a 74 in Round 2 after posting an 81 in Round 1 to move up 22 spots and sit tied for 54th and Nix Duncan sits tied for 71st with back-to-back 79's.

The Hurricanes will tee off Tuesday morning for the final round.
