AMERICUS, Ga. -- Georgia Southwestern State University junior golfer Vincent Norrman has been named Peach Belt Conference Men's Golfer of the Week as announced by the league Thursday.  

Norrman fired three rounds under par to win the loaded Hurricane Invitational in Albany, Ga. The junior from Stockholm, Sweden, takes his first weekly award this spring and fourth of his career after rounds of 69, 66 and 68 to finish 13-under par 203 on the par-72 course. His efforts helped the Hurricanes to a second-place finish of 13 teams, tieing with Young Harris. Norrman is currently second in the PBC with a 71.6 stroke average for the season. 

At the Hurricane Invitational, Norrman's 203 surpassed his previous low 54-hole scoring record of 206(-7) that he posted at the 2018 Copperhead Championship last year. 

Norrman also won the Hurricane Invitational last year and now has two career wins under his belt.
