AMERICUS, Ga. -- Georgia Southwestern State University junior golfer Vincent Norrman has been named Peach Belt Conference Men's Golfer of the Week as announced by the league Thursday.  

Norrman fired three rounds under par to place runner-up in the Bearcat Classic in Greenwood, S.C., that consisted of 110 total players. The junior from Stockholm, Sweden, takes his fifth career weekly award after rounds of 70, 71 and 69 to finish six-under 210 on the par-72 course. His efforts helped the Hurricanes to a fourth-place finish of 22 teams, tieing with Newberry College. 

Norrman currently leads the PBC with a 71.48 stroke average.
