ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The No. 11 Georgia Southwestern golf team capped their season finishing fourth place at the Peach Belt Conference Championship Sunday evening at the Slammer & Squire Golf Course. The Hurricanes finished five-over 869 at the par 72, 6,939 yard course.
Simon Estrada and Saksit Jairak both finished tied for fourth place, landing them a spot on the All-Tournament team. GSW finished second with 52 birdies and went par 157 times. Jairak had the sole eagle for the Hurricanes in Round 3.
Jairak and Estrada both finished tied in fourth place with three-under 213 card. Chase McLain picked up an 11th place finish shooting three-over 219. Jaxson Daskalos finished in 31st place with a 10-over 226 followed by Jack Tharrington, who finished in 35th place shooting 11-over 227.
Young Harris was crowed the winning team shooting an eight-under 856. YHC's Peter Chung took home the individual title after shooting 16-under 200 to win the tournament.
