AMERICUS – The Georgia Southwestern men's soccer team has earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's Team Academic Award.

GSW was one of five Peach Belt Conference schools among the 285 men's collegiate programs honored for posting a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2013-14 academic year.

The Hurricanes, under head coach Warren Russ, finished with a 3.12 GPA.
