AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Georgia Southwestern men's soccer team tallied 11 points as they were picked to finish eighth in the Peach Belt Conference Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll, announced earlier by the league.

The Hurricanes went 4-11, 0-7 in PBC play during their 2019 season. With the addition of 15 newcomers, GSW returns 10 with six starters. They include leading scorer Bryan Zuniga (3g, 2a) along with Sebastian Da Silva (1g, 2a) and Sean Mckeever (1g, 3a). Goalkeeper Oneil Lewis also returns to the squad as he played in over 1,400 minutes with 12 starts.

Second-year head coach Eric Crawford and the Hurricanes open the season on Monday, February 1 at Young Harris College. Their first home game is scheduled for February 8 against Clayton St. as teams will play a full conference schedule this spring with 10 conference games, culminating in the PBC Tournament on April 7 and April 11. There is no NCAA postseason this year.

The preseason coaches poll is below along with the preseason All-Conference team. Each was selected by the league's head coaches who were not permitted to rank their own teams in the poll or vote for their own players for the All-Conference team.
