AMERICUS, Ga. -- Georgia Southwestern State University sophomore Lucas Bedleg was named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week today by the league office on Monday afternoon. 

The sophomore from Andelarrot, France scored two goals in the Canes come from behind victory over Shorter on Wednesday bedleg scored another two goals in the win over Middle Georgia.

Bedleg has five goals and 10 points on the young season he has shot the ball 14 times and 12 have been a shot on goal.

Bedleg leads the PBC and is ranked third in NCAA Division II with 1.67 goals per game; also leads the PBC in shots, shots on goal and points.
