AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern State University men's soccer team falls to Embry-Riddle 2-0 on Wednesday night.

The Hurricanes were stymied offensively once again and could not capitalize on the scoring opportunities given to them the Eagles took a 1-0 lead in the waning minutes of the first half thanks to a ricochet goal that bounced of the bar and landed in the net.

GSW never gave up and fought hard throughout the match the Eagles went on to score the final goal in the remaining 22 minutes of the match. 

The Eagles outshot the Canes 9-7, the Eagles also committed 3 yellow card violations that GSW could not take advantage of.

GSW will be on the road as they take on USC Aiken in a Peach Belt Conference match at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday.
