AMERICUS - Two Lady Hurricanes were honored by the Peach Belt Conference this past weekend at the 2013 PBC Softball Tournament in St. Augustine, Fla.

GSW outfielders Hayley Knight and Rachel McElroy took home All-Conference Second Team honors Friday evening during the PBC conference banquet on the campus of Flagler College.

Knight, who led the Lady Hurricanes at the plate with a .353 batting average, earned her first All-Conference honor of her career. The Leesburg, Ga. native finished ranked 13th in the Peach Belt Conference in batting average.

Knight also ranks second on the team in stolen bases (8) and second in runs scored (29).

Fellow outfielder Rachel McElroy also earned her first all-conference honor of her career as the sophomore earned Second Team Honorable Mention.

The sophomore batted .301 for the Lady 'Canes this past season.
