AUGUSTA, Ga. – Senior Avery Purser capped her strong season campaign for the Lady Hurricanes by earning a spot on the Peach Belt Conference All-Academic team for the 2012-13 season.

Purser, a management major, finished her final season as a Lady Hurricane with a 3.4 GPA.

On the field, Purser helped lead GSW's program to its best finish in the NCAA-era as the Cochran Ga. native finished second on the team in both RBIs (35) and batting average (.333).
