AMERICUS, Ga.- Keri Tompkins has tied the Georgia Southwestern softball record for most home runs in one season. The record is 12 and Tompkins hit her 12th homer last week against Brewton-Parker to win the game. Tompkins also leads the Peach Belt Conference in home runs.

With 16 games remaining in the Lady 'Canes schedule there is no doubt Tompkins will break the record; the only question now is by how many?

The Lady 'Canes are home Saturday to play a double header against Armstrong starting at 1 p.m.
