AMERICUS, Ga. -- Georgia Southwestern (31-19) won two of their three games in their series against Augusta University. The Lady Canes fell in the first game of the series before winning the second game on Saturday and the third on Sunday. Zoe Willis continued her stellar week after her performance against Albany State on Wednesday going 3-3 in the second game while pitching a complete game allowing just one earned run and hitting two home runs in the third game. Katelyn Wood had a solid weekend taking advantage of Zoe Willis's on base percentage by driving in eight RBIs in the series. GSW sits in fourth place in the Peach Belt this season at 12-9 in conference play.
The Lady Canes next game will be Saturday when they host Lander University for the final Peach Belt Conference series this season.
