Marcotte Goes Yard Twice in Victory Over Augusta

AMERICUS, Ga. -- Georgia Southwestern softball team hits four home runs as they defeat Augusta University 7-1 on Friday night.

Isabel Marcotte hit the ball all over the park hitting two home runs and adding three RBIs. Katelyn Wood had a stellar performance collecting two hits in four at-bats with a home run and three RBIs. Ansley Duffey also hit a home run she went 1-for-3 in the game.

Starting pitcher Zoe Willis improved to 6-2 on the season she pitched four innings struck out five batters and only gave up one run. 

Savana Bradford earns her first save of the season pitching three innings and striking out three batters.

GSW will be back home to face Augusta in a doubleheader 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
