Chatman, Storr Named to Peach Belt All-Conference Team

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Georgia Southwestern women's basketball players Lex Chatman and Jaleah Storr were named to the Peach Belt All-Conference Team. Chatman was named to the second team while Storr was named a third team player.  

Chatman, a junior from Decatur, Ga., started all 15 games and led the team in rebounds (8.6), assists (2.5) and steals (2.9) per game. She was also second on the team with 15.8 points per game. 

Chatman scored double-digits figures in 11 of the 15 games played, including a career-high 29 points on February 27 against Clayton St. She led the team with six double-doubles this season. Her 12 career double-doubles makes her the All-Time Double-Double leader in GSW women's basketball history. 

She currently leads the conference with 2.9 steals per game. She ranks fourth in rebounds per game (8.6), fifth in points per game (15.8), eighth in 3-point field goal percentage (27.3) and 11th in field goal percentage (35.5).

Storr, a freshman from McDonough, Ga., picked up nine starts while playing in 14 games. She led the team with shooting 76.6 percent from the free throw line and finished third with 13.8 points per game. She had nine double-digit scoring games, including a record-setting and career-best 35 points at Columbus St., February 24. 

Storr picked up the sole Player of the Week award for GSW on January 25th after averaging 23 points and three rebounds per game, including a 29 point game in an overtime win against Flagler. She was the third Lady Hurricane to win that award. 

Storr finished the season sixth in free throw percentage (76.6), 10th in field goal percentage (41.1) and 12th in points per game (13.1).

This is the third and fourth All-Conference award for the women's basketball program.  

The All-Conference team and post-season awards are listed below as selected by the league's head coaches. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players for any award.
