Jones Bakers Dozen Not Enough GSW Falls to Young Harris

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga.– The Georgia Southwestern State University women's basketball teams extends its losing streak with a 74-73 loss at Young Harris College in the Harp Recreation Center Saturday afternoon.

The Hurricanes had three players score double digits despite the loss. Ava Jones gets her fourth 20-point game of the season as she scored 20 points shot 73 percent from the field grabbed four boards and added three steals.  

Kayla Langley added 16 points, and seven rebounds to the stat column and Jolicia Willams who scored 16 points and grabbed a rebound.

GSW led with five seconds in the game but a late fould by Kayla Langley sent Young Harris to the line as they sank both their free-throws to beat GSW in the final seconds of the game.

GSW finished the season to 21-6 (13-5) on the season the lady Hurricanes finished the season atop of the PBC conference.
