The Perfect Storm; Lady Canes Dominate Talladega College 86-34

AMERICUS, Ga. – The Georgia Southwestern women's basketball team got back in the win column defeating Talladega College, 86-34, on Tuesday evening in the Storm Dome.

A pair of Lady Hurricanes scored in double digits. Junior Lexi McCully scored 17 points shot 60 percent from the field she hit four out of seven three-point shots. She made an impact when she didn't shoot she hauled in four rebounds. recorded three assists and she stole the ball twice. Ndidiamaka Ndukwe she connected on four of her nine shot attempts and added four rebounds and two assists. 

The Lady Hurricanes dominated the entire game and by halftime the Tornadoes fate was already sealed.

  • 34 points is the fewest allowed in a game by GSW since joining the NCAA in 2006-07
  • GSW outscored Talladega by 21 points in the second quarter which ties a program record for largest margin in a quarter
