ALBANY, Ga. – The Georgia Southwestern women's basketball team extends their winning streak to five games defeating Albany State for the second time this season 68-48.

The Lady Hurricanes only had one player score in double figures Jashanti Simmons tied a career high 18 points she hit seven of her nine shot attempts, she added a career high nine rebounds Simmons has scored in double-digits in three of her last four games.

Despite only one player scoring in double digits the Canes dominated the Golden Rams while sweeping the season series.
