Lady Canes Break 100 Points in Blowout Win Over Tusculum

AMERICUS, Ga. – The Georgia Southwestern women's basketball team extended its winning streak to six games defeating Tusculum University for the second time this season, 101-53, on Saturday afternoon in the Storm Dome.

Three Lady Hurricanes set career highs in the win. Jashanti Simmons recorded a career high 22 points, she made 9 of 11 shot attempts, and was also a force on defense collecting five rebounds, two assists and four steals. Simmons has scored in double figures in three consecutive games. Leah Johnson also scored a career high 13 points, she shot over 50 percent from the field and hauled in 10 boards earning her second double-double of the season. Ndidiamaka Ndukwe scored a career-high 11 points she made 5 of 11 shots while also collecting five rebounds. Kayla Langley earned her first double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
