Lady Canes Open PBC Play Defeating Flagler 87-68

AMERICUS, Ga. – The Lady Hurricanes extended their winning streak to seven games defeating Flagler College 87-68, on Wednesday evening in the Storm Dome.

Three Lady Hurricanes set career highs in the win. Leah Johnson recorded a career high 15 points, she made 5 of 7 shot attempts, and was also a force on defense collecting eight rebounds, five assists and four blocks. Johnson has scored in double figures in consecutive games. Ndidiamaka Ndukwe scored a career-high 15 points she made 5 of 11 shots, she made 2 0f 3 shots from three point range while also collecting nine rebounds, four assists,and two steals. Kayhla Adams totaled a career high 11 points while making four of her six shots from the field. Jashanti Simmons had a solid performance with 18 points and hit on two of her three shots from three point range. Simmons has scored in double figures in four consecutive games.
