AMERICUS, Ga. -- The 13th-ranked Georgia Southwestern State University women's basketball team leaned on its three seniors to carry the load in a comfortable, 82-52, Peach Belt Conference win over Georgia College & State University in the Storm Dome on Saturday evening. GSW's Kayla Langley led all scorers with 22 points while fellow seniors Kori Tomlin (16 points) and Kayla Grant (nine points, seven rebounds) played a big role in the outcome against the Bobcats. The three seniors combined to make 20 of 31 shots (64.5 percent), including 5 of 8 from 3-point range.

The Lady Hurricanes took a 12-point lead (44-32) into the halftime break and stretched the advantage to 33 points in the fourth quarter before handing GCSU its largest loss in the series since GSW joined the NCAA in 2006-07.

The Lady Hurricanes had three players finish with nine points in addition to Grant. Leah Johnson, Ndidiamaka Ndukwe and Destiny Garrett matched Grant's total.
