AMERICUS - Georgia Southwestern head women's soccer coach Samantha Snow is one of only 15 female soccer coaches in the country selected by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) to participate in the organization's 30 Under 30 program.

More than 600 applicants under the age of 30 vied for a position as the next great soccer coach, submitting their credentials for the NSCAA 30 Under 30 Program, and recently, the Association announced the 15 men and 15 women who will participate in the 2014-15 cohort of the program.

This year's group comes from every level of the game, from the youth game through the professional ranks. The program is designed to give participants exposure to the NSCAA membership and the opportunity to take advantage of educational offerings, the NSCAA Convention and Summer Symposium.

Launched in 2013, the NSCAA 30 Under 30 Program is a year-long education and mentorship opportunity for a select few up-and-comers who have made soccer coaching their career of choice. This program was created to support fledgling coaches and foster their growth at a crucial point in their vocation.

Snow is entering her third season at the helm for GSW. She obtained her USSF A License in 2009, becoming one of the youngest females to receive that honor, and added a USSF National Goalkeeping License in the spring of 2014.
