AMERICUS, Ga. — The Georgia Southwestern women's soccer team lost 1-0 to Georgia College Saturday evening. The game was a defensive struggle and the Lady Canes couldn't cash in on offense. Even in a losing effort, the 1-0 loss counts as another record for the program during the Kerry Edwards era. The one goal conceded is the lowest amount of goals given up to Georgia College in the program's history.

The Lady Canes will host No. 1 ranked Flagler College Saints in Coach Edward's first matchup against a nationally ranked opponent.
