AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern State University women's soccer team fell to Florida Southern College 1-0 on Friday night.
The Moccasins scored the game's only goal in the first period but were stymied the rest of the way by a ferocious Canes defense.
GSW played a highly contested game and didn't give up. GSW never quit and played very well defensively
A quick turnaround for the Canes they continue their two-game road trip in the Sunshine State as they face off against Rollins College at 11 A.M. Sunday. This will be the second all-time meeting between the two schools last season's contest ended in a tie.
