Lady Hurricanes Fall To #20 UNG 4-0

AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern State University women's soccer team fell to Peach Belt Conference rival North Georgia 4-0 on Saturday night.

GSW was not able to get anything going as the No. 20 Nighthawks scored two quick goals in the first three minutes of the match. UNG added another goal at the end of the first half (39') that pushed the advantage to 3-0 before the halftime break.

A fourth goal late in the second half (88') to seal the match for the Nighthawks.

GSW only mustered two shots but they were on goal. UNG stymied the Lady Hurricanes the entire night.

GSW fell to 1-3-1 on the season and 0-2 in PBC play.

The Lady Hurricanes will be on the road Wednesday to take on Albany State. GSW won the first meeting earlier this season, 4-0, in Americus on Aug.31.
