The Georgia Southwestern women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 non-conference match against the University of Montevallo on Friday morning at the Susan K. Smith Tennis Complex. 

GSW (2-8) picked up wins at No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles.   

Leady Cuellar and Lauren Grogan defeated Alex Mangum and Emily Blackwood, 8-2, at No. 1 doubles; Cuellar later defeated Mangum at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0.

Ashley Waters had a strong showing at No. 4 singles, falling 6-4, 7-5 to Ashlyn Bolton.

The Lady ‘Canes host USC Aiken and Mount Olive on Friday, March 6 at 11 a.m. and 3:00 p.m, respectively.
