AMERICUS, Ga.- The Georgia Southwestern women's cross country team will make its second appearance at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional on Saturday morning.

The Lady 'Canes will run their second 6k of the year at Montevallo to round out their season. Their first 6k was at the Peach Belt Conference Championships on November 8 where the women finished 11th out of 12 teams.

The regional race will include 30 teams and 223 student-athletes. All teams and student-athletes participating are from the NCAA Division II Southeast Region, which includes the Peach Belt Conference, the South Atlantic Conference and Conference Carolinas. The event will include teams from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and Alabama.
