Andrew Sendek enters his first season as the head tennis coach at Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) after spending last season as the assistant women’s soccer coach at GSW. Coach Sendek's tennis background includes a storied playing career that saw him reach the Top 100 in the Midwest region during his junior career as well as the opportunity to represent the USA in international competition prior to the start of his college career. Sendek played his college tennis at Wilmington College prior to transferring and finishing his career at West Virginia University (WVU) where he was a member of the WVU club tennis team, as WVU did not have a NCAA men’s tennis program.

Sendek received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from West Virginia University in Athletic Coaching Education and Sport Coaching and Education. Coach Sendek is currently working on an MBA with a specialization in Sport Management from Lincoln Memorial University.
